Larry started recycling for the Fishtown Civic Assoc. in 1987, every two weeks his neighbors would bring their aluminum, papers/cardboard and glass bottles and deposit them in tubs that he put out on his corner. He discontinued this operation when the city started their recycling program. Larry became a green guide when Sustainable 19125 & 19134  first asked for volunteers. Personally, he has always found recycling to be very rewarding.
